Halloween Fun (and a little soccer)

I'm finally getting around to adding a few pictures! Hope you enjoy the new header picture of my nerdy 6th grader, Pippi and the pirate! The kids had lots of fun, and lots of compliments on their costumes!

Tye had lots of comments on how his mustache and goatee made him look even more like Daddy! He thought that was pretty cool, but he reminded me that Daddy has dark hair on his head instead of light hair like he does.

Heflin Halloween 2008
Papa's grandkids grew in number this year, but they could still fit on the couch!
Thoughts...(from left to right).

Amberlea - who is most OBVIOUSLY Pippi Longstockings! Last night at uptown trick-or-treating, someone said...hey, didn't Dorothy carry a dog, not a monkey? And someone else thought she was Goldilocks (with red hair?). And come on, her pigtails stick straight out!

Isaiah - who was a red hot chili pepper, but is posing in this pictures as a baby who has had it with his costume, and let us all know about it.

Tori - Kitty cat. Tye kept trying to stomp on her tail.

Zeke - Buzz Lightyear, to the rescue! To infinity and beyond! Glad to see that Zeke is feeling better too (he had the stomach yuck earlier in the week too).

Tye - Pirate who actually was going to have a hook hand, but he got a little rough with the hook earlier in the week and cracked it! He is also young enough not to realize he is wearing a shirt that Amberlea wore one year for Christmas and her black gaucho's that still fit!

Don - Monster - he kept pretty busy tonight with his candy and tried to scare me.

Rachel - nerd - she had a "kick me" sign on her back, which we had fun with.

Luke - Duck...which you can see his expression, maybe wondering, why am I dressed like this and what was Isaiah's trick to get out of this garb?

I'll see if I can dig around and find some past Halloween pictures, when they were fewer in size and number.

Below is a video from soccer that I've been meaning to post. Tye is #3.

These 2 pictures were both taken by Abby, which was great to have at the beginning of the season. She's great with a camera, and I appreciate her getting me pictures of the girls, and also snapping some of Tye. I realized tonight that I hadn't really taken any pictures for almost 6 weeks.

Thanks for the pictures, Jenni! It's so good to see kids smiling and what a beautiful bunch of Grandkids! Ann is SO proud! I can see a bit of her in each of them. Well, not the babies so much yet....Hugs all around, please. With love and prayers, Katy
