3 Questions from a 4 Year-Old

So he says they are questions, sometimes they are, sometimes they are statements, just something he needs to tell me.

The following conversation took place this evening as I tucked Tye into bed.

MOM, I HAVE 3 QUESTIONS FOR YOU. FIRST, CAN WE GO TO A BIKE RACE TOMORROW?

Well, I'm not sure about going to a race, but we can pretend to have a race with your bike.

I'M GOING TO RIDE A BULL SOMEDAY.

Yes, I know, maybe someday (I hope not).

UMMM. I CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT ELSE I WAS GOING TO SAY.

So I kissed him goodnight again and headed out. A minute or so later I could hear him.

MOM, MOM, I MEMBER MY OTHER QUESTION!

I go back in. What is it?

WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE PLAYGROUND?

(HA!) I don't know, why DID the chicken cross the playground?

TO GET TO THE OTHER SLIDE. HA! SLIDE, GET IT?

Needless to say, my children can always make me smile.
