Three great kids who just survived the worst week of our lives. This picture was taken on Easter morning, our first holiday without Brian, and he had only been gone about a day and a half. We enjoyed the morning as best as we could.
It felt good to be silly, especially with the 100+ eggs the Easter Bunny hid!
Check out Amberlea's chin...a battle wound from a bike collision earlier that week. It depends on who you talk to about whose fault it was, Rachel's or Amberlea's.
And I couldn't resist sharing with you my entertainment for the day today...the Ping Pong Bandit. He watched a new Backyardigans called Blazing Paddles, and he dug around and found his own costume. He was using the hammer from the Whack a Mole game since we don't have a ping pong paddle. He has his snow boots on because he has outgrown his cowboy boots and wouldn't wear the "on the farm" boots. By tonight, his hair is drenched because his is sweating so bad. It has been a real crack up.What a blessing these kids are!
