Quick Update

Just a quick update...Brian is still needing the breakthrough pain meds more than we hoped. We will increase the pump again in the morning if this continues. He is having a lot of lower back pain. I would guess this could be the tumors from the adrenal glands, as they have grown, but it would just be a logical guess. I've been giving him mini-massages all day, and that seems to help. He is just so weak, it is difficult to see him like this. My overall evaluation would be that he was worse in the night than yesterday, but better today than both yesterday and last night. He has been awake some. I asked his mom to come, and she is actually out getting him a strawberry shake he requested. Yesterday, he skipped the daily Price is Right show, followed by a Game Show Network marathon. He passed on the Price is Right this morning, but maybe he might be interested in some t.v. later in the day.
