It is always a long day for me when I miss Brian's company. Today was a quiet one, basically uneventful, for which I am so thankful. The pain pump was increased this afternoon, and he is feeling some relief for this headache from hell. It isn't at the level we want it yet, and he's still not feeling like getting up or even sitting up, but hopefully the next 24 hours will see improvement there. His respirations ranged between 9-12 today, lower than we want. We observed some apnea in his breathing, but that has improved as the day went on. He was awake some to have brief conversations with the kids, and we shared a family prayer and hugs and kisses together before bed, which felt great.
My prayers this evening are for Ethan, and for my own children. And my fervent prayer for Brian is for healing on this earth, to have his health restored, as we believe only the Father can do. We will never stop believing in a miracle.
