I don't have much to report this morning. The past few days whisked by, as our whole life seems to be. Denise came on Friday, which allowed me to be at all of Rachel's games on Saturday. I went to a movie (Juno) with a friend on Sunday night, then for a bite to eat and back to her house to chat (until 2am)...it was so nice getting out of the house and being a little social, especially knowing that Brian was taken care of. The girls were back home and we spent the day together yesterday. It is always somewhat hectic to have the kids all at home right now, but it feels good too.
Brian had a few visitors over the weekend, and had a good time chatting. He continues to feel decent, still battling that pain, but it is controlled. To clarify, the majority of the ball of his left hip is deteriorated, and bone cancer pain can be very hard to relieve. His appetite is up and down, but decent. He's sitting this morning after watching the Price is Right and now Family Feud, and eating his beloved Dots.
The hospice social worker returns today to meet with the girls again. I have my hands full, dealing with the kids and their emotions, and I am blessed to have the help of so many.
We're hoping for just a quiet week, full of quality time together. I hope that for you all too.

Jenni, thanks for keeping all of your cyber friends in the loop. We are still praying for the miracle, but hoping that you can enjoy some time with Brian being somewhat painfree. I know jsut being around John when he is not in pain is so much more enjoyable for everyone. I am glad to know you have so many loving people around you and your family now. Your cyber friends are all here for you too.

Jenni,
Exactly four months after you started counting, you have over 28,000 hits to your blog. Many of us check daily, but if you do some hypothetical math (and I'll bet you will), the number of individuals you are touching is huge. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I hope you feel the echo of prayers and lover that returns!
