Saturday Morning

What a difference 24 hours can make! Wow! Brian is back to acting himself, although he is still in some pain. He's been sleepy, but not too sleepy. Interestingly, his left leg is now very swollen and his foot is puffy like the Pillbury Dough Boy. It is time to dig the compression stockings out, which should do the trick. It is just a never-ending battle to keep one step ahead of this awful disease. He stayed home from soccer this morning to rest up for the busy day ahead.

We pray today for the family of Bill, melanoma warrior who passed away yesterday. We continue to pray for so many in the battle, especially Mike and Bryce. Thank you to all of our friends and family for your continued support....and a very special thank you to our friends at MPIP who know firsthand the devastation of melanoma and always reach out to offer encouragement and hope. We also feel very blessed to have the support of Melanoma International and the Melanoma Support and Education Foundation. It takes an army to fight melanoma, and we feel well-equipped with the right allies to defeat the beast.

We hope to enjoy a nice, fall weekend.
Many blessings,
Jenni
