Brian is on the mend. He is getting TPN for 16 hours each day, and I'm getting the hang of all the details to get it all going. He looks good, the best he has since his surgery, in my opinion. He is still tired, but some of that goes along with the significant amount of medication he is taking.
The great weather has been inspirational in getting him outside with the kids. The pump itself is fairly convenient, so it seems almost like he's not even doing anything out of the ordinary.
We head to Columbia on Wed. for a check-up, then hope to enjoy time with family over the weekend.
Thanks again for your constant prayers and support.

Okay, so I finally got the hang of this blogging thing. I have been avoiding it. forget those my spacers and face book, this is much more important... Prayers your way as you head south tomorrow. Hopefully they won't make you wait too long this time. I think we should get T shirts that say "Melasuckanoma" and then put something on the back for all those people who say, that they are shocked that a little skin cancer could cause all this. Tori prayed for Brian tonight at bedtime, and thought of it all by herself. She also prayed for Ed(the beagle in the rain) I thought it was pretty cute.
Just wanted to let you know you're in our thoughts and prayers today. I spent all of last week at Ellis but this week I'm only there Monday and Thursday, so I missed an opportunity to pass you in the halls today. I know it isn't a happy place. I was thankful last week to see flowers on display -- some signs of spring that I will interpret as hope. We need all the little boosters we can get along this terrible journey.
