Brian's grandfather, Marvin Abbott (Denise's dad), passed away in the night. He was diagnosed with cancer shortly after Brian's death, and has been in hospice care for the last several weeks. Thank you in advance for prayers for Denise and her sister, as they lost their brother in July 2007 from cancer, as well. Brian was not close to Marvin, so the kids and I don't know him really. I am thankful that he is no longer suffering.
Cancer just seems to be everywhere, single-handedly destroying families. I pray today for a cure for cancer, as all things are possible with God.
