Wow! Zeke walked in just as the man who had to have his arm amputated was on screen. He said, "Whoa, he has a broken arm. What happened to his arm?" I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was the same thing that happened to Uncle Brian. And you're right, Jenni, I really saw and heard a lot of Brian in Steven.
Happy Father's Day Uncle Brian! Love, Zeke
Hey Jenni - I'd love to write more in this post about my thoughts related to the video clips...but I don't have time...I have to go put on my sunscreen!
Love, Teak
Looking at the man with the amputated arm was like looking at my dad at the end of his life, only he didn't lose his arm. He did, however, have half of his chest removed. He was covered with melanoma on his torso, down his legs, foot, on his face, arms, buttocks, and genitals. His death was so painful. I would defy anyone to sit in the sun and bake if they had seen him at the end. It was so very brave of the man in the video to go on camera to try to enlighten young people, and everyone really, as to what the sun can do. This film should be shown to every student in junior high schools around the country. Yes, it's disturbing and scary, but so is melanoma. Thank you for sharing it, Jennie, and thank you too for your continued efforts toward education of the dangers of too much sun.
