I would worry that I am hogging all the prayers lately, but I have a few theories...1st, our lives just really need the extra prayers right now; and 2nd, prayers have no limit, so people can give and give and give; and 3rd, if you are like me, it helps to have something or someone specific to pray for.
So here goes...Keith has been moved to an inpatient hospice facility, with the hopes of improving and being able to come home.
Dave got confirmation tonight that the beast is back...or as they said, was it ever really gone? Dave is about Brian's age and seemingly where Brian was about 18 mo. ago. The disease seemed to be at bay, but now is back and reaking havoc.
Their websites can both be accessed at the bottom right corner of this page.
I also ask for your continued prayers for my children. They are in a league of their own right now, trying to move forward. Amberlea is struggling the most, as I've mentioned before. She only made it about 30 min. at school today and had to come home after getting sick. She is still trying to fight off the flu, so maybe that is what is wrong. I would feel a lot better if she would start eating and maybe even get off the couch for more than 30 seconds.
The days are starting to turn into weeks. I can't believe that Brian has been gone for 10 days. I am in a trance sometimes, trying to absorb my life. I miss him, and today, sadly, I even missed taking care of him. I don't miss his suffering, but I miss showing him how much I love him.
On a funny note, when we were driving past the community center tonight, Tye said...hey, Mom, there's Heaven! I said, where? There, he pointed. I said...that building? He said, yep. Not sure where that came from, but I'm guessing there are a lot of you out there that don't necessarily feel like you're in Heaven when you are there working out! Ha!

Jenni,
Please know you and the kids will most definitely be in our continued prayers. As Jill said in an earlier post we are with you every step of the way. When you can't take another step we are here for you (and the kids)to lean on. We will be storming Heaven's door for prayers for each one of you.
Sending hugs and prayers,
Suzanne VB
A former pastor showed our kids a wonderful "proof" of the infinity of love, and it seems to me it applies to prayer, as well, since prayer is one way of loving.
She showed our guys that one candle's light fills a room and is complete. Additional candles lit from the first candle become complete themselves, and make the room brighter, but do not in anyway diminish the original flame.
Pray away -- we're right with you!
