i could just about spit and maybe i will but i went shopping instead so here's the deal the nursing supervisor and basically all of the nurses who have cared for brian this week think that it is ludicrous for him to ride home in the car for 3+ hours he hasn't been on his feet in 10 days and his left leg is in very delicate condition with the surgery but doing well and today and yesterday are the first time in 40 days that he has had a pain level below 5 usually up around 8-10 and he is acting like the old brian and not sleeping all the time the supervisor finally convinced us both that it would be the best idea to have brian transported home via ambulance and have him arrive home in the same condition as he is now and he could really have good quality time at home and enjoy the holidays instead of having to try to get his pain back under control which was a huge challenge
no ambulance could take him today and nodaway county was coming in the morning but the latest news is that university of missouri is taking him in the morning leaving at 8:30 so i probably just jinxed that too
thanks for being a good sport and letting me rant and rave
pray pray and pray some more

Jenni, I don't usually leave a comment although I read your blog every day. I can totally understand your frustration, having been in and out of hospitals for the past 27 years. Just hang in there. You WILL get home. I'm so sorry this has been such an ordeal. You're entitled to rant and rave and scream and yell and throw the best of tantrums so go for it. Your cyberspace friends understand. Take care.
Jenni, think how much more comfortable an ambulance will be for Brian. How's he taking the news? Love & prayers and hugs, KT
