Brian and I are overwhelmed with the response to the Unionville benefit tonight. It was great to see (and for me...meet) so many who have supported us through this battle with kindness and prayers. Brian was able to catch up with some old friends, and it was a great night. I will update tomorrow night about the benefit when I have more details on the results. I also have lots of pictures that I will post once we get home. Again, thank you.
I'm going to go another direction with this post tonight. It is a topic I've been meaning to mention. I have access to additional information from our Site Meter. It tells me how many people are on the blog each day, how long they were on for, where they came to our blog from (such as a referral from another site)...it also tells me their location. It does not give names. Several people are obvious, such as family in a specific location that shows up.
Anyway, I have just been baffled by the extent of support we have. I am humbled by the fact that you choose so often to check on us, and likely to pray for us. We need you and we pray for you all in return. So I decided tonight just to list the states for the last 100 visitors.
First of all, I am going to check on someone out there from Clovis, New Mexico who visited the blog today. I am hoping you might decide to post a comment. I was born in Clovis at Canon Air Force Base. No one ever knows where that is, besides my dad! Half the time people are surprised I was born in Mexico, then realize we do have a state called New Mexico. I only lived there for about a year until my dad got out of the Air Force and we moved back to Maryville, and I was just too young to remember. But I have always wanted to return. There are just so many towns and cities across the U.S. and tonight I thought...what a small world!
So here is a listing of the rest...
Missouri
Oklahoma
Maryland
Pennsylvania
New Mexico
New Hampshire
Texas
Kansas
North Carolina
Illinois
Iowa
Michigan
Ohio
Massachusetts
North Dakota
California
Arizona
Washington
Florida
Utah
Virginia
Also today we had a visit from Rome, Italy!
We also have regular visitors from a few different places in Canada, and a few other countries. The other day we had a Hawaiian visitor, and usually have regular visitors from New York, Georgia, and Nebraska. I regret not keeping better track because I'm guessing we've made it to all the states! Maybe that accounts for why things have been going better, why the brain tumor was dead, why all the details of Chicago have worked out, why Brian started feeling better yesterday and today so quickly, why so many have blessed us with their support...because we have so many prayers coming from all directions. We asked you to storm Heaven for us, and you are!
Keep the prayers coming!
Love,
Jenni

It was nice to see all of you this weekend. I am glad the benefit was such a success. It is great that such a small community can come together for a great cause. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you! Hope to see you again soon.
