Brian and my cousin Chad...nice hair boys! See the cool t-shirts that were worn by over 500 people at the tournament! In the background, you can see the back of the shirt, which shows a Bible verse Brian and I chose..."I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13 The funds to put this verse on the back of the shirt were provided anonymously by a generous parishioner, and we greatly appreciate the thoughfulness in spreading our faith.

Tye and Trace, checking out the dodge ball games
The 5th/6th Grade Champs!
The Penguins won their division. Check out their cool shirts.
Each t-shirt had the words, "God bless Brian Halley."

Halley's Heroes
This 7th/8th Grade team went all out with their uniforms!
Halley's Heroes get ready to take the court to take on the Gladiators!

This was the championship team for the 7th/8th division.
A mummy, Spiderman, and a cat...another fun, safe Halloween!
My three, plus another Spiderman, Tinkerbell and a frog, all hang out a Papa's before doing a little trick-or-treating around the neighborhood together. It is always fun taking our kids out around in the same neighborhood where we trick-or-treated as kids.
I missed getting pictures of several teams, including Henggeler's and their fancy headbands, KFC and their headbands and socks, the Bobbettos with their frilly socks (they told me they were the best dressed), the St. Gregory's PTO who were dressed as nuns and priests, the Quazzrats with their 3 blind mice, and many others who shared their personalities through their outfits! I can only wonder how many times the movie Dodge Ball has been watched in Maryville in the past 3 weeks! Thank you to everyone for making the tournament a success, and for coming together as a community for this fun event. Brian and I greatly enjoyed seeing so many just have fun, especially when I consider the amount of suffering and sadness so many endure for various reasons. It was just great to get to be silly and have fun!
Now onto Halloween tonight...

Thanks to Papa for hauling us around to trick-or-treat while Brian hung out at his house with Jacob. We made it down to see Grandma Hallie in the nursing home, and eventually made it back home, loaded down with lots of candy!
Thanks for being a part of our lives,
Jenni
