Home Again

Please forgive me for being so short on details tonight. I am simply exhausted, and planning to work tomorrow, so I need to get to bed.

We arrived back in Omaha around 9:30 last night. Brian has been in a lot of pain, and it seemed to be extreme for most of the evening. The flight was fine, but the movement to and from his wheelchair was excruciating. By the time we were back at John and Maureen's, he was in tears. It can just be too much at times, lately most of the time.

I talked with Dr. Anderson's office today, and they adjusted some pain meds that seem to have helped greatly. He is enjoying taking it easy on the couch tonight.

We were very impressed with Dr. Richards. He had come highly recommended, and rightfully so...including his entire staff. We were greeted with kindness and compassion, and felt right at home in a place so far away. Dr. Richards was very optimistic, and we felt good about our decision to move forward with this new treatment.

We enjoyed a nice breakfast with my Uncle Larry and Aunt Nel this morning, and it was great to catch up with them. I sometimes forget how much Larry and my mom looked alike!

Many blessings for good health and happiness,
Jenni
